When purchasing pipe expansion joints, you must purchase them strictly based on the relevant data provided by the design department. When purchasing, be sure to provide the following data requirements to the manufacturer:
1. Pipe pressure and diameter (general diameter of the pipe)
2. Pipeline setup (divided into overhead pipelines and directly buried pipelines)
3. The required expansion amount of the pipe expansion joint (also called the compensation amount)
4. The connection method between pipes and expansion joints (divided into two methods: flange connection and welding)
5. Medium and medium temperature
If the compensation amount is not known, the pipeline conditions must be provided to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer will calculate the compensation amount.
