One-Piece Corrugation Formed from a Metal Tube

This Hydroformed Stainless Steel Bellows is produced by applying liquid pressure to a metal tube blank. The tube is formed into a continuous and dimensionally controlled corrugated body.
Unlike a structure assembled from separately formed diaphragms, the main body of this product is formed from one continuous tube blank. It is therefore suitable for equipment that requires an integrated corrugated structure.
Available materials include 304, 316, 316L, and 321 stainless steel, as well as alloy materials. The inner diameter starts from Φ6 mm. Both single-ply and multi-ply structures can be manufactured.
Available corrugation profiles include U-shaped, Ω-shaped, and butterfly-shaped designs. Corrugation pitch, wall thickness, effective convolutions, and end structures can be adjusted according to the installation space, deformation requirements, and connection position.
Purchasing Value of the Hydroforming Process
The hydroforming process provides a continuous corrugated profile and allows the material, wall thickness, and corrugation pitch to be configured according to the application.
The bellows can be used as an individual flexible element or combined with fittings, flanges, or end pipes to form a complete assembly. It may be used for axial movement, elastic response, and flexible connection between equipment components.
For vacuum valves, mechanical seals, and pressure sensors, the purchaser should confirm the available installation space and required movement before selecting the corrugation diameter and effective number of convolutions.
For industrial expansion compensation structures, the working pressure, operating temperature, required movement, and operating cycles should also be provided. The Hydroformed Stainless Steel Bellows should be manufactured according to the approved drawing, technical agreement, and confirmed inspection requirements.
Forming, Welding, and Batch Consistency
The factory has hydroforming, welding, metal cutting, and pressure testing capabilities. Technical personnel can review customer drawings or prototypes and confirm the material, inner diameter, corrugation form, wall thickness, and interface structure.
After forming, the dimensions, welded areas, and assembly condition are inspected. Quality control is arranged from raw material cutting through forming, welding, and finished-product checking. Every product is inspected before packaging, and customer-arranged third-party inspection is supported.
For repeat batch production, confirmed tooling, production processes, and approved samples can provide a clearer basis for maintaining the same product structure in later orders.
Applications, Packaging, and Trade Terms
This product is mainly used in vacuum valves, mechanical seals, pressure sensors, equipment flexible connections, and industrial expansion compensation structures.
OEM and ODM production is available. Products can be manufactured according to drawings, and the minimum order quantity is one piece. A sample can be supplied before mass production.
The normal production time for a custom product is two to three months. Orders involving special materials, larger quantities, or new tooling also require a production period of approximately two to three months.
Photos or videos can be provided during production. Finished products can be packed in small packages or wooden cases. EXW and FOB trade terms are supported.
Technical support for customers in distant locations can be provided by phone or online communication. On-site assistance may also be arranged when required.
