Mechanical Seal Metal Bellows

Mechanical Seal Metal Bellows combine elastic compensation with a metal sealing function. They can be used in the mechanical seal structures of pumps, compressors, and mixing equipment.

During equipment operation, the bellows compensates for axial movement and provides continuous elastic action for the sealing assembly. Available materials include stainless steel and high-temperature alloy materials.

The product can use a formed bellows structure or a welded bellows structure. Its corrugation profile, number of convolutions, dimensions, and effective length must be developed according to the installation space, axial movement, equipment speed, and process medium.

The ends may be combined with a sealing ring or end seat to create an assembly that is easier to install in the mechanical seal system.

Compared with a conventional sealing structure that uses separate springs, a metal bellows can serve as both an elastic element and an isolation component. It can also reduce direct contact between some spring structures and the process medium.

This feature makes the product applicable to high-temperature, low-temperature, or special-medium operating conditions. However, the material and structure must still be selected according to the actual process environment.

For rotating equipment, the purchaser should provide the shaft diameter, operating speed, installation length, axial compensation requirement, process medium, and working temperature.

When the Mechanical Seal Metal Bellows is supplied with a sealing ring or end seat, the drawing should also identify the welding position, assembly reference point, and total component length. Final performance should be based on the confirmed design and agreed inspection requirements.

The factory has metal bellows forming, welding, and non-standard component manufacturing capabilities. The technical team can review a mechanical seal drawing or existing sample and confirm the bellows dimensions, axial travel, material, and connection structure.

Hydroforming, argon arc welding, laser cutting, and component assembly can be used during production. The factory can manufacture the bellows and related end components as one project.

Inspection is arranged during raw material cutting, forming, welding, and finished-product acceptance. Every product is inspected before packaging. Customer-arranged third-party inspection is also supported.

Production parameters, weld condition, and finished-product status are included in the quality-control process for each batch.

This product is suitable for pumps, compressors, mixing equipment, and rotating machinery operating with high-temperature, low-temperature, or special media.

OEM and ODM services are available. Products can be manufactured according to drawings, samples, or prototypes. The minimum order quantity is one piece, and a sample can be arranged before batch purchasing.

The normal production time for one standard specification is about one month. Products using special materials, larger quantities, new tooling, or custom assembly structures normally require two to three months.

Photos or videos can be provided during manufacturing. Finished products can be packed in small packages or wooden cases. EXW and FOB delivery terms are supported.

The product includes a six-month industry warranty. Customers in distant locations can receive technical guidance by phone or online communication. On-site assistance may also be arranged according to the actual project requirements.
