Controlled Movement Along the Equipment Axis

An Axial Stainless Steel Bellows is mainly used to absorb or transmit movement along the centerline of piping and equipment. Its metal corrugations compress and extend in the axial direction, reducing additional loads caused by temperature changes, mechanical movement, or installation deviation.
This product is designed specifically for axial movement management. The effective number of convolutions can be configured according to the required axial travel, allowing the movement direction of the bellows to match the actual displacement of the equipment.
The product may be supplied as an independent bellows element or combined with flanges, end pipes, fittings, or other connection parts to form a complete assembly.
Materials and Displacement-Based Configuration
Available materials include 304, 316, 316L, and 321 stainless steel, as well as alloy materials. The inner diameter starts from Φ6 mm. Both single-ply and multi-ply structures are available.
The corrugation profile, effective convolutions, overall length, and end connection must be determined according to the axial displacement, working pressure, temperature, and expected operating cycles. These factors should be reviewed together before finalizing the structure.
The Axial Stainless Steel Bellows can reduce the additional force transmitted to rigid piping or equipment interfaces during extension and compression. For pipelines with thermal expansion, the purchaser should also check the direction of movement and the arrangement of fixed and guided supports.
For mechanical moving parts, the actual travel, movement frequency, and number of operating cycles should be confirmed. Clear lateral or angular movement should not be transferred entirely to an axial bellows without structural evaluation.
Drawing Review and Manufacturing Inspection
The technical team can assist with material selection, corrugation configuration, structural design, and connection details. Product selection can be based on pipe diameter, installation length, pressure, temperature, interface dimensions, and required axial movement.
The factory has hydroforming, welding, assembly, and pressure testing capabilities. Quality control covers raw material cutting, corrugation forming, welding, component assembly, and finished-product acceptance.
Every product is inspected before packaging. Dimensions, end connections, assembly direction, and appearance are checked against the confirmed requirements. For assemblies with flanges, end pipes, or customized interfaces, customers should clearly identify connection dimensions, installation direction, and assembly reference points in the drawing. This helps reduce adjustment work during installation.
Applications and Delivery Arrangements
This product is suitable for industrial piping, heat treatment equipment, energy equipment, solar installations, wind power auxiliary systems, and flexible connection positions in mechanical equipment.
Products can be customized according to technical drawings or prototypes. The minimum order quantity is one piece, and a sample can be provided before mass production.
The normal production time for one standard specification is about one month. Products involving special materials, larger quantities, new tooling, or other customized structures normally require two to three months. For repeat orders with unchanged specifications and production processes, the delivery arrangement can generally be about 15 days faster than the first order.
Photos or videos can be provided during production. Small packages and wooden cases are available. If damage is found after delivery, repair or a small replacement shipment may be arranged according to the actual situation. Dedicated technical personnel are available to provide after-sales support.
