A Multi Ply Stainless Steel Bellows is formed from two or more layers of thin-wall metal material. The layered structure is designed for equipment that must balance flexibility, structural stability, and repeated displacement performance.
The product is not simply a single bellows with additional metal thickness. Its design depends on the combined effect of the number of plies, individual layer thickness, corrugation pitch, effective convolutions, operating pressure, temperature, movement frequency, and expected service cycles.

Flexible Configuration for Equipment Conditions
Available materials include 304, 316, 316L, and 321 stainless steel. The inner diameter can be designed from Φ6 mm, and the thickness of each individual layer can be selected within the range of 0.12–25 mm.
Supported corrugation profiles include U-shaped, Ω-shaped, butterfly-shaped, and non-standard forms. The layer quantity, wall thickness, pitch, and effective number of convolutions must be considered together. They cannot be selected independently without reviewing the complete operating conditions.
The Multi Ply Stainless Steel Bellows can absorb axial movement and provide flexible connection, pressure transmission, and media isolation. For applications involving repeated extension and compression, the number of layers and effective convolutions can be designed according to the required travel and operating frequency.
Small-diameter, thin-wall, or close-pitch products also require careful control of forming accuracy, contact between layers, and end welding.
Component Integration and Process Control
The bellows can be supplied as an individual element or combined with flanges, fittings, end pipes, or equipment connection seats. This allows the product to be delivered as an assembly that is ready for installation.
The factory has hydroforming, automatic longitudinal seam welding, argon arc welding, laser cutting, and pressure testing capabilities. Customers may provide technical drawings, samples, or equipment installation dimensions. The technical team can then confirm the thickness of each layer, total number of plies, convolutions, overall length, and connection form.
Inspection is carried out during forming, welding, assembly, and finished-product checking. The factory also records production process information and emphasizes quality traceability between different batches. Every product is inspected before packaging, and customer-arranged third-party inspection is supported.

This product is suitable for vacuum equipment, mechanical seals, industrial valves, semiconductor equipment, pressure control devices, and precision actuators. It is especially applicable to structures involving repeated extension, compression, or high-frequency displacement.
The minimum order quantity is one piece. Samples or prototypes can be produced for structural and installation confirmation. According to the supplied information, custom sample development normally requires about six months, especially when tooling, complex structure verification, or material combination adjustment is involved.
The normal production time for customized products is two to three months. Photos or videos can be provided during production. Small packages or wooden cases can be selected according to the product size and structure. Wooden packaging can help reduce the risk of compression or impact to thin multi-ply corrugations during handling and transportation.
